2.1 Information You Provide
• Identity data: full name, email address, mobile number, and date of birth.
• Career data: educational background, work history, skills, certifications, and internship records.
• Profile data: uploaded resume, photo, and career preferences.
• Employer data: company name, industry, job postings, and hiring activity.
• Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback submitted to SkillPath.

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, and interaction history on the Platform.
• Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
• AI behavioral signals: skill engagement patterns, learning activity, and match interaction history used to improve career predictions.
• Cookies and similar technologies: used for session management and platform performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
• To provide AI-powered career matching, skill profiling, and internship placement services.
• To generate Match Scores and career path recommendations tailored to your Skill Profile.
• To connect Talent Users with Employers seeking candidates.
• To improve and train the AI Career Engine using aggregated, anonymized interaction data.
• To communicate with you about your account, placements, and platform updates.
• To facilitate Learning-to-Opportunity pathways and skill gap recommendations.
• To comply with legal obligations, including reporting to relevant government authorities.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the integrity of the Platform.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
SkillPath processes your personal data on the following lawful bases under the Philippine Data Privacy Act:
• Consent: where you have provided clear consent, such as for blockchain career record verification or marketing communications.
• Contract performance: to fulfill our obligations in delivering SkillPath services to you.
• Legitimate interests: to improve the Platform, prevent fraud, and ensure security.
• Legal compliance: where processing is required by Philippine law or regulatory obligation.
5. How We Share Your Information
5.1 With Employers
Your Skill Profile, resume, and Match Score are shared with Employers who access the SkillPath talent pool. By creating a Skill Profile, you consent to this disclosure for employment matching purposes.
5.2 With Learning and University Partners
Where a partnership agreement exists, SkillPath may share anonymized placement and outcomes data with accredited university and training partners for institutional reporting purposes only.
5.3 With Service Providers
SkillPath may engage trusted third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
5.4 Legal Disclosures
SkillPath may disclose your information to government authorities or law enforcement agencies where required by Philippine law or a valid legal order.
5.5 No Sale of Personal Data
SkillPath does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for commercial or advertising purposes.
6. Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the Philippines for hosting and platform operations. SkillPath ensures all cross-border transfers are conducted under appropriate safeguards consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
7. Blockchain Career Records and Data Limitations
If you opt into SkillPath's Blockchain Career Record feature, certain verified data (skills, certifications, employer endorsements) will be written to a distributed ledger. Due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology, this data may not be fully erasable once recorded. By opting in, you acknowledge this limitation. Blockchain verification is entirely optional and is not required to use the Platform.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Employer-accessed candidate data must be deleted by the Employer once it is no longer needed for the specific hiring decision. Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period may be deleted at SkillPath's discretion, with advance notice where practicable.
9. Your Rights Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act
As a data subject, you have the following rights:
• Right to be informed: know what data we collect and how it is used.
• Right to access: request a copy of your personal data held by SkillPath.
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your personal data where processing is no longer justified.
• Right to object: object to specific processing activities.
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to file a complaint: lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) at www.privacy.gov.ph.

10. Cookies
SkillPath uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session authentication, analyze platform usage, and improve user experience. You may disable cookies through your browser settings; however, doing so may affect some Platform functionality.
11. Children's Privacy
SkillPath's services are not directed to individuals under 15 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15. If we become aware that a minor under 15 has provided personal data without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
